One of the favourites in Filipino breakfast is Daing na Bangus
(Salted and Dried Milkfish) usually with rice or fried rice. The recipe is very
easy which you can prepare/marinate at night and fry in the morning.
A breakfast to make your day right.
Try it and enjoy!
Ingredients
- Milkfish (sliced from the back) - 1/2 kilo
- Garlic (chopped) - 1 piece
- Vinegar - 1/2 cup
- Pepper (grind) - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Cooking oil - enough for frying
Procedure
- Mix Vinegar, garlic, pepper, and salt. Marinate the sliced milkfish with the mixture for 2 to 3 hours (overnight if possible).
- Remove from marinate then let dry.
- Heat up a frying pan with cooking oil and fry the marinated milkfish
- Enjoy!
* Best served with rice.
