Tapa is typically a dried or cured meat (usually beef). Filipinos usually prepare tapa by slicing them in thin slices then curing/marinating with salt and spices so that it can be preserved. You may opt to buy thinly sliced on your local grocery instead.
Tapasilog is a term used when tapa, garlic fried rice, and fried egg are combined into one meal. This is commonly a breakfast meal. Because of Tapsilog’s popularity, it produced may other variations (mostly having garlic fried rice, and fried egg included) like Longsilog, Chiksilog, Daingsilog, Hotsilog, among others.
Ingredients
  1. Beef (thinly sliced) – 1 kilo
  1. vinegar – 1 cup
  1. Soy sauce – ½ cup
  2. Garlic (minec) – 1 whole
  1. Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  2. Olive oil- 2 tablescpoon

Procedure
  1. In a bowl where you can marinate a beef, combine beef, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and some salt and pepper. Marinate for at least overnight
  2. Heat up a pan then put the oil to fry the beef.
  1. The beef will fry quickly because it is thin.

* Best served with Garlic rice and tomatoes.
