Sinigang sa Miso (Miso Sinigang)

Sinigang is a Filipino stew or soup which has a sour and savoury flavour and is usually associated with tamarind. Traditionally "sinigang" means a stew that is tamarind based. Our recipe is Sinigang sa Miso or Miso Sinigang.
Different meats can be used along with the dish like fish, pork, beef, shrimp, or chicken.
There are different vegetables you can use with sinigang as well and the commonly used are okra, gabi "taro corns", labanos "daikon", kangkong "water spinach", sitaw "yardlong beans", and talong "eggplant" to name a few.
Sinigang is one of the popular choices in Filipino cuisine.
Ingredients
  1. Salmon or Mackarel or Snapper (sliced) - 1 Kilo
  2. Garlic (chopped) - 3 cloves
  3. Tomatoes(chopped) - 1 whole
  4. Ginger (sliced) - 1 whole
  5. Sinigang sa Miso Mix - 2 packs
  6. Mustasa "Mustard greens" - 1 bundle
  7. Bokchoy "Chinese cabbage" - 1 bundle
  8. Chili (long) - 3 pcs
  9. Water - 2 cups 
  1. Fish Sauce - to taste

 Procedure 
  1. In a cooking pot, sauté garlic, onion, and ginger. Add tomatoes
  2. Put the fish along with the sautéed  ingredients then mix for a few seconds
  3. Add the water and the Sinigang sa Miso mix
  4. Bring to a boil
  5. Add fish sauce depending on your taste
  6. Simmer until fish is cooked (around 15 mins)
  7. Add the Bokchoy, Mustasa, and Chili.
  8. Let it simmer a bit
  9. Enjoy!
